How is a smart toilet installed?

1. Core Prerequisites (Must be met; otherwise installation is impossible)
Plumbing and Electrical Requirements:
Water Supply:
- Cold water pipe connection pre-installed in wall (hot water pipe requires separate pre-installation; recommended spacing between cold and hot pipes: 10-15cm).
- Connection height: 20-30cm above floor level.
- Deviation from toilet centre: ≤5cm.
- Water pressure range: 0.05-0.75MPa (Boost pump required for insufficient pressure; pressure reducer valve required for excessive pressure).

Electrical circuit: Provide a dedicated three-pin socket (10A/16A, select based on toilet power rating, typically 16A). The socket must feature a waterproof cover plate (IP44 or higher), installed at a height of ≥30cm above floor level and ≥20cm from water sources (splash protection). It must be earthed (the central pin of the three-pin socket is the earth conductor). A dedicated residual current device (RCD) is recommended (RCD operating current ≤30mA).

Waste discharge: For floor-mounted toilets, reserve a waste outlet with a centre point 30cm or 40cm from the wall (common specifications, must match the toilet's waste outlet); wall-mounted toilets require pre-embedded waste pipes with a centre point 18-20cm above the floor.

Supplementary Materials: Stainless steel braided inlet hose (1-1.5m length, fitted with non-return valve to prevent backflow), filter (smart toilet-specific, filters impurities to prevent nozzle blockages), neutral anti-mould silicone sealant (seals toilet base to prevent water seepage and mould), anti-slip mat (placed between toilet base and floor for enhanced stability).
